{"id":687,"date":"2019-06-07T09:01:38","date_gmt":"2019-06-07T13:01:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joeywrites.com\/?p=687"},"modified":"2019-06-08T08:18:01","modified_gmt":"2019-06-08T12:18:01","slug":"quick-stats-of-where-were-at","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joeywrites.com\/?p=687","title":{"rendered":"Quick Stats of Where We&#8217;re At"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just a short blog today to do a status check. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Here&#8217;s some recent updates: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/joeywrites.com\/?p=673\">My pap smear<\/a> came back clear &#8211; I&#8217;m still in remission for endometrial cancer.  Hurray! <\/li><li>My macular degeneration test came back clear. No diabetic damage to my eyes.  Hurray! <\/li><li>My pre-op testing is done.  It took 2 sticks to get all the blood they needed, and a list of which meds to stop when prior to the surgery. I&#8217;m a little concerned for potential side effects (like more lethargy for a week), but at least I know. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What&#8217;s still coming up: <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mammogram the Saturday before surgery.  We are just trying to knock everything possible off the checklist so we don&#8217;t get any more surprises if we can avoid them. <\/li><li>Test results back from the urine and blood samples they took at pre-op.  There is a chance that I might have a new infection, which hopefully won&#8217;t delay surgery, but might mean an antibiotic. <\/li><li>Packing and traveling to Duke for the big day.
